Tears flowed with the music Saturday night at the Publick House in Southampton at the farewell performance of a local band. Southampton Town Justice Andrea Schiavoni, who shares lead vocals with Suffolk County Corrections Officer Brian Dyer in the rock group Clamor, said Saturday’s swan song was emotional for all concerned.

“We all realize that we were a part of something amazing with uniquely wonderful people at the oddest time of life for this kind of adventure to occur,” Ms. Schiavoni said.

The band, comprised of professionals in their 40s, is breaking up because two of the members, bass player Ray Diaz, an obstetrician and gynecologist, and drummer Mark Garabedian, a pediatrician, are moving out of state. Guitarist and vocalists Mike Garabedian, a lawyer and Mark’s brother, and lead guitarist and novelist Zach Lazar round out the group.
Though the music has ended—for now—Clamor still hopes to reunite at some point. The emotional harmony the group achieved will continue to resonate.
“We had an experience of which dreams are made,” Ms. Schiavoni said.
